Aspen — 2 nights

Known as a ski resort town, Aspen's history goes back to its roots as a silver-mining village tucked away in an isolated valley of the Rocky Mountains.
Venture out of the city with trips to Glenwood Springs (Sunlight Mountain Resort & Thermal Spas). On the 9th (Fri), dedicate a day to the elevated beauty of Aspen Mountain / Ajax. It doesn't end there: hit the slopes at Aspen Snowmass and appreciate the history behind The John Denver Sanctuary.

Yuma to Aspen is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. In December, Aspen is cooler than Yuma - with highs of 35°F and lows of 10°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Sun) early enough to catch the flight to Estes Park.

Estes Park — 2 nights

More than just a convenient resting place for travelers on their way to the national park encompassing the Front Range of the Rockies, Estes Park is a popular place to visit in its own right.
On the 12th (Mon), take an exotic tour of Estes Park Guided Tours and then relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas. On the 13th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: head outdoors with Estes Park Scooter Rental and then take a memorable drive along Trail Ridge Road.

Fly from Aspen to Estes Park in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Aspen in December, with highs in Estes Park at 46°F and lows at 17°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Tue) so you can go by car to Denver.

Traveling by car from Estes Park to Denver takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus. In December, daytime highs in Denver are 43°F, while nighttime lows are 19°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Thu) so you can go by car to Colorado Springs.

Colorado Springs — 2 nights

Stunning Garden of the Gods Park scenery, blue skies and the glory of Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain have attracted visitors to Colorado Springs for more than a century.
