Home of airplane pioneers the Wright brothers, Dayton prides itself on its inventors, including Charles F. Kettering, inventor of the automobile self starter.
On the 6th (Wed), relax in the rural setting at Fulton Farms, tour the pleasant surroundings at Aullwood Audubon, and then stroll through Aullwood Garden MetroPark. On the 7th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate the long history of Carillon Historical Park, walk around Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark, and then savor the flavors at Food & Drink.

Situated on the north bank of the Ohio River, Cincinnati distinguished itself as the only U.S. city that left a favorable impression on one of its most famous 19th-century visitors, English author Charles Dickens.
Step off the beaten path and head to Cincy Brew Bus and Taft Museum of Art. Change things up with these side-trips from Cincinnati: Ark Encounter (in Williamstown) and Boone County Distilling Co. (in Independence).
