Although Badlands National Park's name might not be the most inviting, its landscape of pinnacles, eroded buttes, spires, and an expansive, pristine mixed-grass prairie remain enticing.Do some cultural sightseeing at Minuteman Missile National Historic Site and Wounded Knee: The Museum. Get in touch with nature at Big Badlands Overlook and Yellow Mounds Overlook. Spend the 11th (Fri) exploring nature at Badlands National Park. There's lots more to do: take a memorable drive along Loop Road, trek along Castle Trail, look for all kinds of wild species at Roberts Prairie Dog Town, and take in the dramatic natural features at Badlands Wall.
