Glacier National Park — 4 nights

The glaciers from which Glacier National Park takes its name mostly dissipated eons ago, but they left behind a scoured landscape of high and steep mountain peaks, sparkling lakes, lush alpine meadows, and thick forests.
On the 12th (Fri), hike the day away at Highline Trail. And it doesn't end there: take a memorable drive along Going-to-the-Sun Road, explore the activities along Iceberg Lake, tour the pleasant surroundings at Avalanche Lake, and trek along Iceberg Lake Trail.

A genuine cowboy city, Cody is famous for its nightly rodeos and its proximity to the protected wilderness areas of the world's first national park, now designated as one of the country's World Heritage Sites.
Get out of town with these interesting Cody side-trips: Yellowstone National Park (Trout Lake Trail, Lamar Valley, &more). There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Buffalo Bill Center of the West, examine the collection at Cody Dug Up Gun Museum, make a trip to Pahaska Tepee, and learn more about the world around you at Draper Natural History Museum.
