Grand Forks — 8 nights

Grand Forks is the third-largest city in the State of North Dakota (after Fargo and Bismarck) and is the county seat of Grand Forks County. Change things up with these side-trips from Grand Forks: Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County (in Moorhead), Fargo (Roger Maris Museum, Red River Zoo, &more) and Bonanzaville (in West Fargo). There's still lots to do: appreciate the history behind Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, steep yourself in history at Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile State Historic Site, deepen your understanding at University of North Dakota, and stop by Widman's Candy Shop.
