A major transportation hub, Omaha was once considered little more than a stopping point on a pioneer's journey west.
On the 23rd (Wed), contemplate the long history of Malcolm X Memorial Foundation, take in nature's colorful creations at Lauritzen Gardens Omaha's Botanical Center, then get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Henry Doorly Zoo, and finally get a taste of the local shopping with Old Market.
