Known internationally as the "Horse Capital of the World," Lexington boasts a thriving economy resting largely on its thoroughbred racehorse industry.
When in Lexington, make a side trip to see Ark Encounter in Williamstown, approximately 52 minutes away. There's much more to do: catch the contagious excitement of Keeneland, indulge your thirst for a good beer at Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co., immerse yourself in nature at Kentucky Horse Park, and brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Barrel House Distillery.
