Mammoth Cave National Park — 2 nights

Start off your visit on the 13th (Thu): get to know the resident critters at Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo and then trek along Cedar Sink Trail. On the next day, Head underground at Diamond Caverns, then Head underground at Mammoth Cave, and then trek along Fat Man's Misery.

You can drive from Mammoth Cave National Park to Lexington in 2.5 hours. Another option is to do a combination of taxi and bus.
