The Henry Ford and Greenfield Village are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Shop till you drop at Polish Art Center and The Town Peddler Craft and Antique Mall. There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Detroit Institute of Arts, steep yourself in history at Motown Museum, examine the collection at The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, and pause for some serene contemplation at The Cathedral Church of St. Paul.

On the 7th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: browse the exhibits of Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse, snap pictures at Mackinac Bridge, and then contemplate the long history of McGulpin Point Lighthouse & Historic Site.

Traverse City might be well known for its huge cherry industry, but its position along Grand Traverse Bay in Lake Michigan endows it with fine scenery and a wealth of outdoor attractions.
Get some cultural insight at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Left Foot Charley Winery. Head to The Village at Grand Traverse Commons and Front Streetfor plenty of shopping. And it doesn't end there: learn the secrets of beer at a beer tour and tasting, learn about winemaking at Suttons Bay Ciders, and brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Northern Latitudes Distillery.
