Tupelo is the county seat and the largest city of Lee County, Mississippi. Start off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): steep yourself in history at Elvis Presley Birthplace & Museum, then brush up on your military savvy at Tupelo Veteran's Museum, and then cruise along Natchez Trace Pkwy.

Vicksburg is the only city and county seat of Warren County, Mississippi, United States. Discover out-of-the-way places like Windsor Ruins and Old Capitol Museum. Jesse Brent Lower Mississippi River Museum and Interpretive Center and Anchuca Mansion are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Venture out of the city with trips to Grand Gulf Military Park (in Port Gibson) and Mississippi State Capitol (in Jackson). There's still lots to do: take in the history at Vicksburg National Military Park, don't miss a visit to McRaven House, take an in-depth tour of Old Court House Museum - Eva W.
