The gateway to Utah's popular canyon country, Moab sits engulfed in the middle of desert wilderness.

Take a break from the city and head to Off-Road Tours and Arches National Park. Denver to Moab is an approximately 4.5-hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and car. Prepare for a bit cooler weather when traveling from Denver in January: high temperatures in Moab hover around 36°F and lows are around 16°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Mon) early enough to drive to Sedona.

Traveling from Moab in January, expect nights in Sedona to be much hotter, around 37°F, while days are somewhat warmer, around 54°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Sat) so you can fly back home.
