Bozeman — 2 nights

Bozeman is a city in and the county seat of Gallatin County, Montana, United States, in the southwestern part of the state. Change things up with these side-trips from Bozeman: Big Sky (Grizzly Outfitters Ski & Backcountry Sports, Lone Peak, &more). Cap off your sightseeing on the 22nd (Wed) early enough to go by car to Missoula.

Bigfork is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Flathead County, Montana, United States. On the 24th (Fri), examine the collection at Miracle of America Museum and then explore the activities along Flathead Lake. On the 25th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Flathead Ford Museum, get outside with Wild Trout Adventures, and then grab your bike and head to Swan River Nature Trail.

Getting from Missoula to Bigfork by car takes about 2 hours. In March in Bigfork, expect temperatures between 46°F during the day and 25°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Sat) to allow time to drive to Glacier National Park.

Glacier National Park — 2 nights

The glaciers from which Glacier National Park takes its name mostly dissipated eons ago, but they left behind a scoured landscape of high and steep mountain peaks, sparkling lakes, lush alpine meadows, and thick forests.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Sun): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Swiftcurrent Mountain, get outside with Swiftcurrent Pass Hike, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Bullhead Lake. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 27th (Mon): head outdoors with John's Lake Loop.
