Mackinaw City is a village in Emmet and Cheboygan counties in the U.S. Start off your visit on the 22nd (Wed): admire the striking features of Indian Village, then take an in-depth tour of Museum of Ojibwa Culture, then steep yourself in history at McGulpin Point Lighthouse & Historic Site, and finally kick back and relax at Nancy Dagwell Campbell Park.

You can drive from Munising to Mackinaw City in 2.5 hours. Another option is to do a combination of taxi and bus. July in Mackinaw City sees daily highs of 73°F and lows of 58°F at night. On the 23rd (Thu), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel to Glen Arbor.

Glen Arbor Township is a civil township of Leelanau County in the U.S. Your inner history buff will appreciate Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and South Manitou Island Lighthouse. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Black Star Farms and Point Betsie Lighthouse. Take a break from Glen Arbor with a short trip to Frankfort Beach in Frankfort, about 38 minutes away. There's lots more to do: hike along Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail, kick back and relax at Lake Michigan Beach Park, learn about all things military at Sleeping Bear Point Maritime Museum, and learn about winemaking at Blustone Vineyards.
