Famed as the site of a purported UFO crash in 1947, the Roswell of today offers much more than alien research opportunities.
Visit Historical Center for Southeast New Mexico and Fort Stanton Historical Site for their historical value. Do some cultural sightseeing at Roswell Museum & Art Center and Artesia Historical Museum & Art Center. Get out of town with these interesting Roswell side-trips: Hurd-LaRinconada Gallery (in San Patricio) and Fort Stanton Museum (in Fort Stanton). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at International UFO Museum and Research Center, view the masterpieces at Tokay Beaded Art, and cruise along Singing Road.

To see other places to visit, maps, ratings, and tourist information, go to the Roswell travel website .

Santa Fe

Santa Fe ©
Santa Fe continuously ranks among the world's top holiday destinations, attracting visitors with its unusual combination of scenic beauty, rich history, cultural diversity, and high concentration of performing arts venues, fine restaurants, and interesting attractions.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Ghost Ranch and San Miguel Chapel. Get some cultural insight at Palace of the Governors and El Santuario de Chimayo. Change things up with these side-trips from Santa Fe: San Francisco de Assisi Mission Church (in Ranchos De Taos), Bradbury Science Museum (in Los Alamos) and Taos (La Hacienda del los Martinez & Millicent Rogers Museum). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at Museum of Indian Arts & Culture, take in the exciting artwork at Mama's Minerals, and admire the masterpieces at Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.
