New York City — 8 nights

Big Apple
Writer Pearl Buck once called New York City “a place apart,” and this giant urban center remains unlike any other in the world. You've added The Metropolitan Opera, 9/11 Memorial, Room Escape Games, and other attractions to your itinerary. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Valley Forge National Historical Park and Ellis Island. Take a break from the city and head to Minnewaska State Park Preserve and Dutchess Rail Trail. Step out of New York City with an excursion to Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge--about 2 hours away. There's much more to do: admire the masterpieces at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, admire the landmark architecture of Rockefeller Center, take a stroll through Times Square, and make a trip to Statue of Liberty National Monument.
