Hammondsport is a village at the south end of Keuka Lake, one of the Finger Lakes of, New York, United States. Kick off your visit on the 20th (Sat): take an in-depth tour of Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, learn about winemaking at Weis Vineyards, do a tasting at McGregor Vineyard, then do a tasting at Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard, and finally learn about winemaking at Silver Springs Winery L.L.C.. Keep things going the next day: see the interesting displays at Corning Museum of Glass and then admire the majestic nature at Watkins Glen State Park.

Hyde Park is a town in Dutchess County, New York, bordering the Hudson River north of Poughkeepsie. Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Mon): steep yourself in history at Val-Kill Cottage, steep yourself in history at Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt, and then contemplate the long history of Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum. Here are some ideas for day two: steep yourself in history at Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site, then admire the striking features of Olana State Historic Site, and then steep yourself in history at Thomas Cole National Historic Site.
