A trip to Corolla will add a bit of slow-paced fun to your Outer Banks holiday.
We've included these beaches for you: Carova Beach and Currituck Beach. Attractions like Back Country Safari Tours and Whalehead Club make great kid-friendly stops. The adventure continues: identify plant and animal life at Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education, see the interesting displays at Corolla Wild Horse Fund Museum and Store, glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour, and take a memorable drive along Beach Jeeps of Corolla.

Manteo is a town in Dare County, North Carolina, United States, located on Roanoke Island. Visit Bodie Island Lighthouse and Fort Raleigh National Historic Site for their historical value. Attractions like Capt Johnny's Outer Banks Dolphin Tours and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge make great kid-friendly stops. Step out of Manteo to go to Manns Harbor and see Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, which is approximately 36 minutes away. It doesn't end there: enjoy the sea views from Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse and steep yourself in history at Island Farm.
