Rockport is a town in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. You'll get in some beach time at Good Harbor Beach and Wingaersheek Beach. Take a break from the city and head to Halibut Point State Park and Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. Explore Rockport's surroundings by going to Salem (The House of the Seven Gables, Old Burying Point Cemetery, & more), Salisbury (Salisbury Rail Trail & Salisbury Beach State Reservation) and Old Burial Hill (in Marblehead). Spend the 5th (Fri) exploring nature at Plum Island. There's lots more to do: see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, sample the tasty concoctions at Ipswich Ale Brewery, steep yourself in history at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, and enjoy the sand and surf at Crane Beach.
