Pawhuska

Pawhuska is a city in and the county seat of Osage County, Oklahoma, United States.It was named after the 19th-century Osage chief, Paw-Hiu-Skah, which means "White Hair" in English. Kick off your visit on the 1st (Sat): look for gifts at The Pioneer Woman Mercantile and then stroll around Tallgrass Prairie Preserve. Keep things going the next day: take in the views from The Swinging Bridge, see the interesting displays at Pawnee Bill's Ranch, Museum and Wild West Show, and then take a peaceful walk through Osage Hills State Park.
