While traveling from Hood River, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Newport, ranging from highs of 58°F to lows of 46°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Mon) so you can drive to Cannon Beach.

Cannon Beach is a city in Clatsop County, Oregon, United States. Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Tue): take in the dramatic natural features at Haystack Rock, then immerse yourself in nature at Ecola State Park, then shop like a local with Bronze Coast Gallery, and finally admire the majestic nature at Oswald West State Park.

You can drive from Newport to Cannon Beach in 3 hours. Another option is to take a bus. May in Cannon Beach sees daily highs of 62°F and lows of 48°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Tue) early enough to go by car to Portland.

A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.

Explore Portland's surroundings by going to Salem (Bush House Museum, Schreiner's Iris Gardens, &more). Dedicate the 26th (Fri) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. Traveling by car from Cannon Beach to Portland takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. While traveling from Cannon Beach, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Portland, ranging from highs of 70°F to lows of 51°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 28th (Sun) to allow enough time to fly back home.
