9 days in Orlando Itinerary

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.

Kids will appreciate attractions like Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort. Change things up with these side-trips from Orlando: Merritt Island (NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex & Space Shuttle Atlantis) and Boat Tours & Water Sports (in Kissimmee). Pack the 16th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Have a day of magic on the 15th (Tue) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There's still lots to do: discover the magic at Magic Kingdom Park, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St James Roman Catholic Cathedral, and get in on the family fun at Discovery Cove.
