Located near the memorial park marking the site of one of the largest Civil War battles, the town of Gettysburg sits in a landscape of rolling green hills with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance.
On the 20th (Thu), steep yourself in history at Little Round Top, explore the striking landscape at Devils Den, then see the interesting displays at Gettysburg Museum of History, and finally trot along with a tour on horseback. On your second day here, browse the exhibits of Jennie Wade House, take an in-depth tour of Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, then get to know the fascinating history of Shriver House Museum, then admire all the interesting features of Gettysburg National Military Park, and finally stroll the grounds of Gettysburg National Cemetery.
