Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
You've added Flight 93 National Memorial, White Water Adventurers, PNC Park, and other attractions to your itinerary. Kick off your visit on the 12th (Wed): contemplate the long history of Fallingwater, relax and float downstream with White Water Adventurers, experience rural life at Mill Creek Park, then see the interesting displays at Bicycle Heaven, then take some stellar pictures from Grandview Overlook, and finally wander the streets of Mount Washington.
