Phoenix

— 7 nights
Phoenix is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. Step off the beaten path and head to Piestewa Peak and Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting. Appreciate the collections at Scottsdale Center for the Arts and Commemorative Air Force Museum. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Phoenix: We-Ko-Pa Golf Club (in Fort McDowell), Horseback Riding Tours (in Mesa) and Cave Creek Regional Park (in Cave Creek). There's much more to do: identify plant and animal life at Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch, hike along Echo Canyon Trail and Recreation Area, get outside with Right On Target Clay Guides of AZ, and stroll through Brown's Ranch Trailhead.
