Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S.
On the 2nd (Sat), take in panoramic vistas at Yokahu Observation Tower, then take a memorable tour with Tours, and then explore the different monuments and memorials at San Juan Cemetery. Isla de Vieques

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Mon): get engrossed in the history at Fortin Conde de Mirasol Museum, glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Caracas Beach.

Isla de Vieques is just a short distance from San Juan. In March, daily temperatures in Isla de Vieques can reach 84°F, while at night they dip to 72°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Mon) to allow time to travel to Rincon.

Rincon

A seaside playground in the Caribbean, Rincon was a small agricultural and fishing town until it hosted the 1968 World Surfing Championship.
Kick off your visit on the 5th (Tue): enjoy the sea views from El Faro Lighthouse, take in the exciting artwork at Playa Oeste Gallery, then discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Crashboat Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 6th (Wed): browse the eclectic array of goods at Rincon Art Walk, identify plant and animal life at Tres Palmas Marine Reserve, and then kick back and relax at Sandy Beach.

Getting from Isla de Vieques to Rincon by combination of car and flight takes about 3 hours. Other options: do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, shuttle, and car. With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
Kick off your visit on the 7th (Thu): tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa Punta Soldado Beach and then stroll through Flamenco Beach. Keep things going the next day: step off the mainland to explore Culebrita Island, then kick back and relax at Zoni Beach, and then see the interesting displays at Museo Historico de Culebra.
