With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
On the 21st (Sun), stroll through Flamenco Beach and then visit a coastal fixture at Culebrita Lighthouse. On your second day here, examine the collection at Museo Historico de Culebra and then enjoy the sand and surf at Tamarindo Beach.

To see reviews, photos, where to stay, and more tourist information, read Culebra journey planning tool.

New York City, USA to Culebra is an approximately 9-hour flight. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from New York City to Culebra due to the time zone difference.
