Rincon — 2 nights

A seaside playground in the Caribbean, Rincon was a small agricultural and fishing town until it hosted the 1968 World Surfing Championship.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Wed): soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers and then kick back and relax at Sandy Beach. Here are some ideas for day two: stroll through Maria's Beach and then discover the deep blue sea with Fathom Charters.

Luquillo — 2 nights

Luquillo is a municipality of Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the northeast coast, northwest of Fajardo; and east of Rio Grande. Kick off your visit on the 20th (Fri): paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour and then enjoy the sand and surf at Playa La Pared. Here are some ideas for day two: kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks and then enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Luquillo.

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
You'll get in some beach time at Playa La Chiva and La Plata Beach. Step off the beaten path and head to Spas & Wellness and Isabel Segunda.
