As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to San Antonio Fire Museum and Vietnam Veterans Memorial of San Antonio. Burlington — 2 nights

Burlington is a city and the county seat of Des Moines County, Iowa, United States. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Dankwardt Park and Midwest Electric Railway. Step out of Burlington to go to Mount Pleasant and see Theatre Museum of Repertoire Americana, which is approximately 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: walk around Crapo Park, pick up some new knowledge with Art Center of Burlington, and stroll the grounds of Aspen Grove Cemetery.
