— 2 nights

The Hostess City of the South

Georgia's oldest city, Savannah displays its colonial history proudly on every corner.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Fri): stroll around Forsyth Park, shop like a local with The Silver Garden Gallery, then take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and finally trek along Hilton Head Island Bike Trails. On the 19th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get thoroughly spooked out with a ghost and vampire tour, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, then steep yourself in history at Savannah Historic District, and finally make a trip to Historic River Street.

To find more things to do, ratings, traveler tips, and more tourist information, you can read our Savannah trip planning site.

The Route module shows you travel options from your home to Savannah. In June, plan for daily highs up to 89°F, and evening lows to 72°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 20th (Sun) early enough to catch the flight to Atlanta.
