Start off your visit on the 4th (Fri): take an in-depth tour of Historical Kanab Library, trek along Wire Pass Trail (Buckskin Gulch Access), look for gifts at Denny's Wigwam, then view the masterpieces at Raven's Heart Gallery, and finally see Off-Road Tours.

Bryce Canyon National Park

You can find hoodoos--rock pillars formed by erosion--all around the world, but those of Bryce Canyon National Park remain the standard bearers thanks to their bright red color, tall stature, and arrangement in large amphitheaters.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Sunrise Point and Bryce Canyon Scenic Drive. Step out of the city life by going to Queen's Garden Trail and Fairyland Loop Trail. There's lots more to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Thor's Hammer, tour the pleasant surroundings at Sunset Point, trek along Navajo/Queens Garden Loop, and look for all kinds of wild species at Rim Trail.
