Stone Mountain — 1 night

Kick off your visit on the 12th (Tue): engage your brain at Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center, then surround yourself with nature on Lake Lanier Canopy Tours, and then make a splash at Cumming Aquatic Center. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take in the views from Stone Mountain Covered Bridge, ride a horse along Yellow River Park, and then admire the majestic nature at Stone Mountain Park.

Myakka City to Stone Mountain is an approximately 8.5-hour car ride. You can also drive. Plan for little chillier nights when traveling from Myakka City in July since evenings lows in Stone Mountain dip to 70°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Bryson City.
