Taft is a city in the foothills at the extreme southwestern edge of the San Joaquin Valley, in Kern County, California. Get out of town with these interesting Taft side-trips: Rose Valley Campground (in Ojai), Fort Tejon State Historical park (in Lebec) and Frazier Park (Ridge Route Communities Historical Society and Museum & Mt. Pinos).
