Take a break from the city and head to Willow City Loop and Old Tunnel State Park. Do your shopping at Luckenbach Texas General Store and Agave Gallery Fine Art. There's still lots to do: learn about all things military at National Museum of the Pacific War, admire the majestic nature at Lyndon B. An old colonial city and a busy cruise ship port less than an hour's drive from Houston, Galveston sits on Galveston Island and serves as a popular vacation destination for both domestic and international travelers.
On the 23rd (Thu), take an in-depth tour of Moody Mansion, then shop like a local with The Strand, then contemplate the long history of Bishop's Palace, and finally get to know the fascinating history of The Seawall.
