Center of Fun in the Smokies

A tiny town with big tourist appeal, Pigeon Forge bills itself as the "Center of Fun in the Smokies." Just a short drive from the national park protecting the diverse plant and animal life of the Great Smoky Mountains, the town features numerous places to visit, such as bars, restaurants, cafes, theaters, and shops.
Discover out-of-the-way places like The Coaster at Goats on the Roof and Dollywood's Splash Country Water Adventure Park. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like River Rafting & Tubing and Outdoor Gravity Park. Change things up with these side-trips from Pigeon Forge: Forbidden Caverns (in Sevierville), Rockefeller Memorial (in Great Smoky Mountains National Park) and Zipline (in Hartford). There's still lots to do: walk around Chimneys Picnic Area, learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Smoky Mountain Deer Farm & Exotic Petting Zoo, catch some excitement at Rocky Top Mountain Coaster, and take in the dramatic scenery at Laurel Falls.
