Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
On the 19th (Fri), shop like a local with Glasshouse Studio, then view the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass, then take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle, and finally wander the streets of Pike Place Market. On your second day here, examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, admire the masterpieces at Seattle Art Museum, and then take a leisurely stroll along Hiram M. Chittenden Locks.
