Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
On the 6th (Fri), stop by Faulkner House Books, take a stroll through Royal Street, stroll through Chalmette National Historical Park, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Louis Cathedral, and finally don't miss a visit to Jackson Square. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 7th (Sat): examine the collection at The National WWII Museum and then wander the streets of Garden District.
