The largest municipality in Missouri, Kansas City has an impressive array of world-class museums, shopping areas, and great places to eat, all of which attract tourism to the area.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Wed): see the sky in a new way at The Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium at Union Station and then contemplate the long history of Bingham Waggoner Mansion & Estate. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take an in-depth tour of National WWI Museum and Memorial, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, then pause for some photo ops at Korean War Veterans Memorial, and finally admire the masterpieces at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

On the 19th (Fri), find something for the whole family at Old Town.
