Paradise is an unincorporated community in Whitefish Township, Chippewa County in the U.S. Start off your visit on the 21st (Tue): examine the collection at Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, explore the activities along Tahquamenon Falls, and then admire the sheer force of Tahquamenon Falls State Park.

You can do a combination of ferry and car from Mackinac Island to Paradise in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry, bus, and taxi. Traveling from Mackinac Island in July, plan for slightly colder nights in Paradise, with lows around 53°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 21st (Tue) so you can go by car to Munising.

Munising is a city on the southern shore of Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. Bring the kids along to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Miners Castle Rock. Getting from Paradise to Munising by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of car and shuttle. Expect a daytime high around 74°F in July, and nighttime lows around 56°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Fri) to allow time to travel to Ontonagon.
