Manchester is a town in, and one of two shire towns (county seats) of, Bennington County, Vermont, United States. Get out of town with these interesting Manchester side-trips: Bennington (Bennington Battle Monument, Bennington Museum, &more), Vermont Country Store (in Weston) and Papermill Village Bridge (in North Bennington). There's much more to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home, experience rural life at North Meadow Farm, and snap pictures at Bridge at the Green.

The Green Mountain State
