Munising is a city on the southern shore of Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. Bring the kids along to Oswald's Bear Ranch and Sand Point Beach. Take a break from the city and head to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Miners Castle Rock. There's still lots to do: admire the sheer force of Munising Falls and get engrossed in the history at Pictured Rocks Interpretive Center.
