Virgin Islands Children's Museum, Charlotte Amalie

What a great little museum - the perfect thing to stay cool and dry with little ones when the weather isn't good. There was a lot to do (our kid is 3.5yrs) and we could've spent all afternoon or may return another day... Including some things I've never seen at other children's museums! Favorites were the water table (my 40yr old husband had to drag himself away), giant kaleidescope, indoor playground, scarf "flyer" and mango tree/ball ramp. My only criticism would be the staff who were clearly bored and not super welcoming, but the museum itself is so clever, clean and fun that we didn't even really mind. If you have kids definitely put this on your list!

A great museum with the aim of getting children engaged and interested in range of scientific disciplines. It's an incredibly engaging and interactive experience. Even as an adult with a background in science i was captivated. You should really take a day to bring your children. They will have a great time.
