  • We had such a fun relaxing time snorkeling at Protestant Cay. The boat ride over is $5 roundtrip, plus a tip. The water is calmer and very clear to see all the fish.

  • During our trip we stayed at Hotel On The Cay and had a chance to check out other beach areas. Besides the Buck Island, I think this is the best spot to go for swimming. There's a bit more space to spread people around without laying too close to each other in compare to other beach on the island. Furthermore, onsite there are beach chairs, umbrellas and food that are available for a fee (as well as a restroom). The only downside is when holidays comes around everyone seem to flock on this beach and can get pretty noisy. We saw a few people drunk and loud music blaring to a point that it became annoying. Other than that, this is likely the best spot for a beach day on the island.
  • Love it here. Shortly after the hurricanes they were hosting travelers. Not everything was functional ( bar, rest., etc.) but it was very liveable. Short ferry ride to the board walk makes the entire town accessible. Not fancy but very comfortable.
