Must see · Beach · Nature / Park
Consistently ranked among the world's top beaches, Magens Bay offers arguably the most photogenic stretch of shore available on the Virgin Islands. The sugary sands and calm waves on the northern coast of Saint Thomas invite you to swim, kayak, and paddleboard. Visually appealing from every angle, the charming coastal spot enjoys the protection of its surrounding park, which offers organized camping and encompasses swathes of mangroves and wetlands. The park also contains several rental venues designed to host weddings, family parties, and other private events. The beach itself boasts picnic tables, food vendors, changing facilities, and several outfits renting water-sport equipment. • This was our favorite beach. Yeah you have to pay $5 a person but it wasn’t to crowded and the water was awesome!  more »

  • The United States pays Denmark for the Virgin Islands.
  • Nice beach. Water is a little murky. Not much shaded areas to sit out of the sun.
