Create an itinerary including Salomon Beach
Stroll across the sugar-white sands of Salomon Beach, a hidden gem surrounded by tropical plant life. You can access the beach from the 1.6 km (1 mi) “Lind Point” trail from Cruz Bay, with a fork in the route providing a shorter, less hilly walk on the lower trail, or a more scenic path from the “Lind Point Overlook” on the upper trail. At the beach, refresh yourself in clear waters set in secluded scenery, with a patch reef full of colorful shoals. Take a short walk or swim to the neighbouring “Honeymoon Bay” to find refreshments and water sports rental. Using our online itinerary creator, Cruz Bay attractions like Salomon Beach can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • How to get there by foot, from Estate Lindholm, uphills in 3 min, to the National Park sign. The trail sign is just behind the National Park sign. Then follow the sign, walk downhills, and at one point, you turn left to the path toward Solomon Beach (instead of right toward Honeymoon Beach). The entire hike is about 20-25 min. I highly recommend it for a morning trip (8/9 am - 1/2pm) so that you can take advantage of the shades under trees. Afterwards, you leave the beach on the other end and hike 20 min to town and get some lunch and drinks.
  • Can hike to this beach, but we stopped by in our Dinghy. Easy access on the side of the beach, just avoid the rocks. Very small and secluded so usually had the beach to ourselves. I would say average snorkeling experience.
