Hawksnest Beach, Virgin Islands National Park

Water Body · Beach
Relax and unwind on Hawksnest Beach, a quiet strip of sand offering extensive views of the bay. Popular mainly with local families, the beach remains more peaceful than many others on the island. Sunbathe on the fine white sand and take a dip in the clear blue waters. Because it is slightly more exposed than other beaches, expect some surf here and use caution when swimming or snorkeling with little children. The sea grape trees provide ample shade to get away from the blistering sun. • Not as nice or long as some of the others but it is a nice, charming, and convenient beach. Limited parking so it keeps the crowds down, and it is a easy direct path to the water.  more »
  • This beach was so quiet and great for snorkeling. There are a few rocks close to shore but pst that is an amazing scene underwater. The fish are not scared of you and the coral reef are beautiful.  more »
