  • We visited Fort Abercrombie during "Aber Days". They had a blacksmith, tin smith, soldier reenactments, great gift shop, lots of historical books for sale. Museum and guided tour could be purchased...  more »
  • If you love history and are interested in Civil War and Native American history this is the place to go. Knowledgeable staff, as in take the fort's history and put it in the larger concept of US history and even Canadian history. Put us in golf cart and took us through the entire site. Some actual buildings left. Great building with museum of artifacts, small gift shop and great bathrooms. It was a Sunday afternoon and there were people visiting there.
