Create an itinerary including Otter Cliff
Take a peaceful coastal stroll and absorb expansive views over the vast ocean at Otter Cliff. From here you’re presented with fabulous photo opportunities, as countless boulders lining the shoreline emerge from beneath the water during low tide. Formerly serving as the United States Navy's radio facility, the natural rock formation rises 6.63 m (21 ft) above the level of the water, making it one of the highest coastal headlands north of Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro. Put Otter Cliff and other Acadia National Park attractions into our Acadia National Park route planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Another very good viewpoint for the classic Acadia National Park photo ... cliffs, ocean, and evergreens ... also may be designated as Otter Point, too

  • The view from the top of the cliffs was spectacular. It was super windy and the waves were crashing below, but it was truly an amazing sight.
