  • We definitely enjoyed learning about history in Tennessee. We thought that "Walking Tall" was a fictional person. You learn something knew every day. Thanks Ms Dottie for your smile and hospitality!
  • I read the Twelfth of August when I was a teen and saw the movie "Walking Tall" I've always been interested in this story but never made it to the area to visit until now. I was greeted warmly, paid the $10 fee and watched the movie. They offered to guide me but because my time was limited, I chose to make my own tour. I had more time than I thought and now wish I'd taken the guided tour. They answered my questions though. The amount of memorabilia, newspaper clipping, etc. is amazing. Also, don't miss the wall with law enforcement patches from all over the world. A fitting tribute to a man who walked tall.
