  • Nice little place to go for a family outing/camping trip. Has a camping site and a playground for kids. Many grills at the park for cookouts. Quite a few ponds and such to go fishing in. There is a 3 mile loop hiking trail to walk, and there is the option to go paddle boating, or canoeing/kayaking down 1.7 miles of the edisto river.
  • Aiken State Park is a beautiful property. The sites are spacious and not right on top of one another. Great hiking trails. There are 2 negatives that will most likely keep us from returning. 1. The roads are terrible! There are huge potholes everywhere. 2. It's literally in the middle of nowhere. It's at least 15 miles to get anywhere.
