  • Very nice small zoo, with a large play area for kids and a picnic area. Not crowded at all. There was a pretty wide variety of animals and especially rescued birds. Very clean. $2.50 senior admission....  more

  • We stopped by on our way to Ruidoso NM. It’s the oldest Zoo in the state so we thought stop. It was worth the $2.50 (senior discount) for for 45 minute break from the drive.

  • Admission is super affordable. I love that the zoo is like a walk in the park. The monkeys were adorable and very interactive. You can feed the ducks which is behind the gift shop. The zoo doesn’t have a whole bunch of exotic animals at larger zoos but it’s still worth a trip. My family loved it.
  • We went on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't busy but it definitely wasn't empty. The zoo itself takes about 20-30 mins, depending on your speed, to go through but they have a huge park and playground there which was nice. Everyone was super helpful and the price was low. Looks like they are adding on some more displays. Overall a good experience and fun way to spend part the day. We'll be back soon.
